I saw this large black wasp type bug fly into this web so I decided to wait and see what turned up
I was expecting a small spider to come out and have trouble with the wasp... then this dirty great big thing came out... no problems

the spider is my favourite followed by the stairs.

like the way the legs converge to the prey.

All are great, but I love the spider (possible since it's very far away!). Interesting composition on the stairs too.

That spider is awesome and very freaky Firsty, love the texture to it all. The colour in the flower shot is awesome, gotta love the Tammy hey!

Nice shots Keith... It can be difficult to come up with different shots when there are so many photographers around, but you succeeded...

Thanks for the brief play I had with your D200 as well... It's nice to see one in the flesh... Very different to the D70... BTW, If any of the 4 toothless shots of my daughter came out, then I wouldn't mind a copy...

The flower - lovely, great exposure and colour

The stairs don't do much for me.

But the spider is a cracker - well spotted!

When you're at a spot like yesterday it's all too easy to take the obvious shots (I'm certainly guilty of that!) - it's nice to see some took a different approach

Great work. I love the spider, and also the one of the stairs, although in this latter case I'm trying to figure out if this image hasn't been oversharpened just a bit too much.

I'm really undecided about that; it's a good image (I think) but you've taken the sharpening right to the edge.
