I'd never actually taken any flower shots before this so be as mean as you want as it was my first time with a flower being the focus of my viewfinder's attention.

3 4 and 5 are exquisite the last is cute the rest i must say are a little standard
but the closeup ones especially the ones in water are very sophisticated.

2 and 3 do a good job showing the timeless beauty of the red rose.
the problem with 2 though, for me is the extra white at right.
it draws my eye.

The shots with the water present a different take on them.
I like the simpler ones. I guess I am just not that arty.

Love the velvety texture in that third one - the closeup of the red rose. Get rid of the green at the corners though

For me, it's "the red one" or "the yellow one" or even "the pink-with-a-bit-of-white one"...

I really like the ones int he water on 2nd look they are more interesting than the standard obvious shot

#5 and #6.(The red ones ) look the best to my eye . #5 looks abstract and the colour looks a bit richer which makes it stand out from the others .

Leigh. These are all very good, but #4 and #5 transcend goodness and are trully sublime (gee I'm starting to sound like Wendell. Think I'll go field test my gear )
