February moon

Now I do not like the full moon because it washes out the night sky preventing any good astronomy from being done and has ruined any chance of imaging the comet for a week or so, so if you can't beat it...
Taken with the 80-400 lens, 100 ISO, f8, 125 sec

Ironically, it ruins moon photography, too. While full moon is the only opportunity to get almost all of the visible side in one shot, it also gives the least amount of contrast and detail, compared to lesser phases.

This is not a critique of Big V's shot (of which I'd like to see a bigger version), more a general observation...

Cheers
Steffen.
