A few from tonight's moonrise, from the beach at Brighton.
C&C appreciated.
Cheers

Nice shots Judy

I love the first and last the best
The first looks as though the moon is on fire, and the water looks like smooth dark blue velvet, and the last is beautiful.
I personally would crop some of the last shot, to eliminate some of the sky above the moon, but that's just me.
Well done

I think the strong lines in the first make this my pick. VERY nice
The others have the moon just a little overexposed for my liking.

The tonal changes in 1# from light blue to almost black make this a winner print and frame it .LOZ

Judy, nice shots i like the first 3 and i think a couple of people in the last shit would have topped it off nicely, but not always what we get but still very nice pics.

Lovely stuff Judy, I like #1 which seems to be a popular choice and I also like #3.
#1 Is a very strong, emotive shot, the strong foreground lines are very stirring, and the paritally sheltered moon and wisps of cloud a great
#3 almost makes it look like the sun, (I like this affect here) and I also like the extra detail in the foreground rocks.

Judy, the first one really jumped out at me when the page loaded - beautiful shot! & the last is just as good - I might try a portrait crop tho

Thanks very much for all the great feedback everyone. I was rather pleased with the way they turned out.
It's incredible how much the colours can change over such a short period of time. I just missed the moon creeping up over the horizon, but did manage to get some of that sweeeet blue colouring.
Cheers

all lovely shots

I like the first the best of these.
had a friend call me from Wooloowin last night telling me to grab the Nikon and get outside to capture similar shots - frustrating to be stuck in the office knowing that the moonrise looked so lush.

Love #1
The way the water breaks up into horizontal blue/black lines.
And the faint hills on the horizon
