I'm no ornithologist, but some kind of duck?

I do love the duck.
What lens were you using at the zoo?

I'd expect you would need a longer zoom for most animals, and wouldn't need to swap all that often?

The main lens used for my zoo visit was a Sigma 100-300mm 3.5, which came with the Pentax MZ50 I bought about 3-4 years ago. I also have a 28-80 which has a macro function (I tended to use that more in the reptile house, too) and the 17-50mm which came with the *istDS (I didn't use that one much).
