Chris, I love the clarity and sharpness on the second.
Not impressed at all with #3.

That second flower looks like it has been desaturated and turned into a sketch.

The first pic is with the Sigma 105 macro on the D2Hs. The second pic is with the D70 and the 28-75mm f/2.8 Tamron

I would have prefered to see the carnation in isolation. It is a beautiful flower. The macro is a fine technical example of extreme close-up.

That second pic is beautiful. Looks like the carnation has been animated amongst the other flowers and quite surreal. I like it heaps.

Chris, the first shot has really nice mix of colours. DOF is used really nicely.

The last is tooo sharp and does nothing for me. Sorry.
