Whyte Island Training

Today I attended the Queensland Combined Emergency Services Academy at Whyte Island to photograph one of the training scenarios. QFRS vehicles involved were 530a (Capalaba Pump), 524a (Eatons Hill Pump), 509a (Camp Hill Pump), 512a (Taringa Pump), 516k (Chermside ET), 502I (Roma Street LP), and BA2 (Area Director).
The scenario involved a block of units. A person cooking food on the stove, who leaves the kitchen to quickly finish repairing his vehicle in the garage. The car in the garage is jacked up whilst the person works on the vehicle, however it becomes unstable and entraps the person underneath. The food on the stove ignites. Meanwhile a drink driver has crashed into the block of units, causing an electrical fire to start. Persons are within the burning block of units. An electrician on the roof repairing lines is injured due to the electrical fault and live wires.
That's my old man with the cutting saw
He was brilliant!
