Bird

Just read the duck thread. Birds are hard to shoot as they seem to make you want to work very hard for the shot. This fella sat in the tree for a good hour having a feed but managed to stay as well hidden as he could. This was taken from the top of a 1.8 metre step ladder.

Looks like a Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoo. Bird certainly do make you work :) I've been frustrated and disappointed waiting to get shots that never eventuate. This afternoon it took me an hour to wait for some Lorikeets to move where I wanted them to.

Your right, "Yellow Tailed Black Cockatoo". They ( 3 or 4 of them) come and hang around the back garden every few weeks for an hour or so. Sometimes they just fly past. They are beauitiful birds.
