Hi everyone,

I've just come home from a month in Vietnam. My partner and I took a combined total of around 1400 photos while we were over there. The following are some of my favourites. All except the last one were taken with a little Canon powershot A80. The last one was taken with the Nikon D70s. I hope to put some more from the D70 up soon after a little post-processing. Comments welcome.

Hey Macka, great photos. No. 2 reminds me of my trips to Asia. Got similar photos of sleeping becak/rickshaw/cyclo drivers napping every time.

Really nice shots of VN. Halong Bay shots really is outstanding. I would like to go back to understand my culture a bit more.

I would be interested in knowing what the propaganda sign says. My vietnamese is embarassingly poor.

I'm sure mine is even worse! The tones are very difficult for someone not used to them. Maybe Birddog can translate for us :)

the 2 bridges and Halong Bay are the standouts in this group
