360 degree Pano

Got a thin skin? Then look elsewhere. Post a link to an image that you've made, and invite others to offer their critiques. Honesty is encouraged, but please be positive in your constructive criticism. Flaming and just plain nastiness will not be tolerated. Please note that this is not an area for you to showcase your images, nor is this a place for you to show-off where you have been. This is an area for you to post images so that you may share with us a technique that you have mastered, or are trying to master. Typically, no more than about four images should be posted in any one post or thread, and the maximum size of any side of any image should not exceed 950 px.

Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.

Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.

Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.

Hi been playing with these......please ignore the stitching quality as I was more interested in the final product than the image quality.....did it very quickly.

24 images stitched together with Panorama Tools in PTgui then used PTviewer to display the 360 degree panorama from the original jpeg output.

I give to you a virtual tour of my lounge !!!

Thanks...I made them myself....never got round to painting them though....you know the old story you get them in to check if they work....they do...then you never finish them off!!!:)

Well PTgui is 59 euro I think but there are plenty of tools that you can use like Pano Factory etc. But the rest is free. Assuming you have a tripod and wide angle lens and pano head (I don't).

Just gave myself a serious headspin - just keep spinning the shot at quickly as you can at one angle - hang on
Why am I doing that???????

  Hah....yeah...Leowe Aconda 18 mths old a few big cracks and then bang.....she's gone. Luckily under warranty still....but for $4000 and apparently one of the best quality TV's one can buy.....I was a little  disappointed!!! Should be back any day soon. The technician blamed it on living right on the beach...."the moisture in the air"

Perhaps you don't have Java installed.

mmmm....must be a browser issue for me. Using IE 6. Have checked security tab in options (set to medium) and use of Java applets is enabled, so don't know what the problem is.

OK!! Thanks Joel. Java now installed and can see the pano. Looks rather dark on my calibrated monitor, but very cool. What size lens have you used here. Would like to try this on some street scenes.

Hey mate, just the trusty kit lens. 2 shots verticle and 12 horizontal so 24 shots in all. All at 18mm. You only need 4 shots apparently with the 10mm fisheye!!

The shots could very well be dark I didn't even post process them. Just wanted to get to the finished product. I am very impatient!!!:)
