I hope you guys/gals enjoy and feel free to critique. I posted a few images this morning and I was pretty frustrated but I seem to have figured a few things out...

The first image is my pick of the bunch. The tread print is interesting enough to hold my attention and t he contrast of the gold rim is appealing.

The girl half undressed. :) She has an interesting tan line.

The second last image is good too, with the used, worn-out tyres leading to the culprit. :)

I too like the first image, it's eye catching, and centers the viewers attention to the spot you (assumedly) wanted, well done...

Like the catch of the dirt being thrown up, adds heaps more to the image...

Oh, stumbled here on the third, give me a minute.... Ah, that's better, now on to the next images... 8)

The 350Z and the BM are great catches of controlled power slides, and particularly like the angle and composition of the spare tyres and the Nissan,

Love the first one, very strong! The S13 with shredded tyres in the foreground is also great. The shot of the bimmer would be superb if it was all in the frame, it's not bad however!

I like the one of the Nissan Z but think the others might have too close a crop...

Still, some great shots there.

Oh and Steve, I'm going to take a stab with that tanline and say that though it's unlikely we will ever know, the blobbiness of the shape being so abrupt suggests to me it might be some sort of fluffy pom-pom-ball-thingy on some other underwear she wore at another time.

the whole series really portrays the atmospherics of that sort of event

this image regardless if it's not technically perfect has a great rushed feel to it, the angle of the car, tilt, colour and the pan all make for an image with great feel.

wow guys...

Thankyou!!

There are many more images in the series

I feel really good with the results. This was my first shoot with my new D70s and my first intro into amateur/professional cameras. My only other SLR experience was my film Canon Rebel, haha. I learned photography on my way to an A.A.S. graphic design degree at Anna Lamar Switzer Center for Visual Arts (Pensacola Junior College) in Pensacola, FL under guidance from Warren Thompson and Mark Francis (Frances?). Dont know if you've heard of either but both have exhibited wonderful work.

maybe a birth-control patch? I dont know either. Was gonna burn the tanned area but decided to leave it alone.
