Ok, I know I've posted these before, but after playing with Stubbsy's image of Leigh, I went back and had a quick play with Damian's shots....
What do you think? ( bare in mind this was done pretty roughly, but you get the idea)

I like the concept, but think the wings are too long. I also think this works much better than this image did on its own, althought the severely blown highlights around Damian's bum still bothers me (but then I obsess about blown highlights)

Peter - I agree - you did make me laugh though with the 'blown' hightlights around the bum ... are you saying my other half has gas ;)

This one isn't as good (at least I don't think so - the wings are in slightly the wrong place), but it is fun :)

Sorry guys - was just playing :)

Smaller wings on the second shot - but I must admit I prefer the longer wings (just me), and the hairy butt cloned out ;)

excellent that is very arty
composition is great too
I like how you used a man as the angel

the blown highlights contribute to the form, if it were perfctly exposed i don't think it would be that apealing like who wants to see curvature of a naked man

the 2nd posted pic is a powerul image too

I preferred the hairy butt - more natural. I hate this obsession with removing every stray body hair. Like the larger wings too.

Thanks Jethro, Wendell & Peter :)
Damian just came into the office and went 'Oh no, not more photos of my butt!!!" ;) Thanks for the comments, - I'll have to go to Crazy Clarkes, buy some wings and try to take some more shots.

A tip for anyone who wants to have a go at this - sounds ridiculous and gross, but it isn't. If you are ever driving somewhere, and have your camera in the car and see a bird that has been hit beside the road, take a photo of its wings. (after making sure it is dead, and if it isn't, taking it to the vet). The wings are truely beautiful, and in a way, you are paying 'homeage' to the animal by recognising its beauty (even in death). Do the same thing with insect wings you may find - cicada wings are particularly beautiful.

Ok - now you all think I'm weird, so I'm going to bed :)

Thanks again guys
