I can't seem to see the first one. In the second one you lose the bird with the seed? in the background. The seagull is nice and clear with a good OOF background. Likewise, in the fourth you have done well to get a nice coloured background and not overexpose the pelican too much. I enjoy trying to take pictures of birds - never an easy exercise so well done.

G'day Pa,
Beautiful bird in the first two, looks like you could perhaps go for a bit more contrast and I'd probably crop in a bit on the first to exclude the darker stuff on the left and frame closer in on the bird...
Seagulls are tricky to exposure for I reckon and pelicans are an exposure nightmare, hot white next to black, doh, I always have trouble with them Great pose and background for the pelican shot too, isolates him well...

The fourth is my favorite out of these, but I must ask are these heavy crops? There looks a fair bit of loss in feather detail (except the seagull).

hi darryl the seagull, there is very little crop to it, the pellican was about 50 mtrs away and the lorri"s were about 10 mtrs so they were cropped a fair bit.
