Hi all,

every once in a while someone is asking about how to do macros.
I thought I'd put 3 examples here done with the 50mm 1.8 and a 12mm extension tube.

Here they are:

Hi Christiand,

These are lovely examples of macro shots using extension tubes, especially no. 2 and no. 3. They are very sharp indeed and are a great advert for the use of extension tubes.

I have used extension tubes for years and recommend them highly. There is no loss of picture quality, only loss of light (which doesn't matter when using flash).

Great pics

Cheers

Michael
