Wendell,

Here is one for you from the MYER fashion show with the fire. It's not a good one, unfortunately. But yeah, the fire was there, all right! And we felt it too - was pretty warm.

Here is a bonus pic of another photog..

it seems these model photog girls who shoot nikon all have the same lens choice - 28-70 2.8

I like no 2 better also.

Alex that 1st shot is amazing it is better than any of my shots simply because of the fire and fashion than anything i got from the Loreal shows
you should be very happy to have that image in your first run fashion runway portfolio, it is a special image considering it was your first show.

I heard there was a photographer on the roof just above the fire and at the end of the show he got cooked - pretty funny

The second pic is of Tessa from 6Six photography they are the official photographers for fashion week and many other australian fashion events

Your right birdy Tessa and Brad hick from 6Six photography are one of the few nikon users amongst a heap of canon fashion photogs. As soon as i saw their setup: d2x and 28-70 i wanted one myself. Although they also use the 70-200VR alot, but i prefer the 85mm for simple point and shoot
With Brad Hick and tessa they work as a team one has a 28-70 the other the 70-200 so brad doesn't have to use two camera bodies.
