Exercise in Style - March 2006:

Structure
structure n.
*Something made up of a number of parts that are held or put together in a particular way: hierarchical social structure.
*The way in which parts are arranged or put together to form a whole; makeup: triangular in structure.
*The interrelation or arrangement of parts in a complex entity: political structure; plot structure.
*Something constructed, such as a building.
Biology.
*The arrangement or formation of the tissues, organs, or other parts of an organism.
*An organ or other part of an organism.


Submissions between 1-31 March 2006

THE RULES:

IMPORTANT: There are no prizes. This is not a challenge. It is an exercise...
1. All members are urged to participate with photos taken in the current month
2. All makes and models of camera accepted, FSLR, DSLR, P&S, pin hole, MF, LF
3. All method of Post Processing (PP) allowed- unless 'theme' states otherwise
4. Only one (1) image per member
5. Submissions valid between the 1st and last day of the month.
6. You may do more PP after posting your image
7. First person who posts an appropriate image gets to choose theme for next month
8. Thats about it!

Go for it everyone- can't wait to see what you come up with :)

taken today under a very overcast sky so i desaturated it and added a little contrast as the colour was poor anyway.

i composited this image as a mirror, but look carefully i have changed some architectural elements for some whacky mind bending contemplation

It is a structure, and it's helping to build another structure. (The plane just happened to be there... whether I should have cut out so much of the structure to fit it in I'm not sure..)

Hi,

something a bit more abstract looking:

could be a set of roads in the desert, photographed from a plane :roll:

but in fact, it is a rock shelf at the bottom of the cliff here. I always thought it was interesting and finally took a picture today.
