I had a relaxing weekend in a beach house near Coolum recently.
For some stupid reason we walked up Mt Coolum before sunrise.

I liked these IR better than the colour pics.
The last 2 are through a pinhole.

Have lived on the coast for 8 years now and have not yet had the desire to punish myself by walking up Mt Coolum. Walked around the golf course a few times though.

Love the shots #1 & #3 especially the flare from the sun adds to the photo rather than detracts from it. #3 shows you were not the only crazy going for a walk.

You say these are IR not B&W? Can you do IR with digital or is it just PP?

I used a Hoya R72 filter.
