Another Bloody Sunset Pic!!We do pretty sunsets down here in Godzone
![]() ![]() If I'm alone in a forest and my wife is not around to hear what I say, am I still wrong ??
I am a sucker for sunsets but I think I would be tempted to crop some black of the bottom, almost 1/3 frame of black stuff.
Steve check out my image gallery @

hrrmmmm - I looked at the sky last night and thought it would have been good if we had a view, or if I'd had the time to get somewhere with one!
Was a wonderful sky, in both directions. Will be looking out for signs of a good sunset through the week. Whether that eventuates in actually getting one is another thing ![]() I'm with Steve - get rid of some of the foreground black, and this will work quite nicely ![]() ![]() *** When getting there is half the fun! ***
Great colours. I like the original (uncropped) best. Rule of thirds are working there.
Plus, the graphic designer in me always looks where text would be placed, and this black section would do nicely. HB
I also saw this great sunset last night - it was one of the best I've ever seen. However, I was in a car on the M5 at the time with no camera (and a wife who wouldn't stop anyway

The original was only slightly cropped (to A4 dimensions). In hindsight, 24mm was too wide but that was what was on the camera and I only had about 30 seconds as the light was fading fast. It would have been even better 60 seconds earlier. If I want to print the pic I have the conundrum of too much sillouette or lose some of the "focus" of the image to preserve a roughly 3 x 2 image... ![]() If I'm alone in a forest and my wife is not around to hear what I say, am I still wrong ??
