From our trip to the Canberra Floriade festival last year I have just caught up enough to start processing the photos now

I am surprised how good they are I was not looking forward to looking at them again as I was very disappointed with what I had shot at the time.

D70 most are shot with the 80 200 f2.8

It was the only way to compress the images and cut the clutter.

I do have some ultra wide sigma 10 20 shots somewhere. I will post when I find them

The ultra wide Sigma 10 20mm lens held at ground level after that it was dumb luck  [/img]

the first 4 and the 2nd post are absolute;ly beautiful, original and abstract
the colours are just gorgeous
excellent work - well thats to be expected from you

i especially liek the blue sky toen in the 2nd series it's not that polarized reflex blue a more elegant grey cobalt blue which suits the subject matter perfectly

Dug the fourth image and the first and second shots in the second series are tremendous. Glorious colour and great composition. #4 in the first series is a real pearler.

As my wife always tells me "Arse beats class any day"

I was getting desperate to find a better/ different /original way of shooting the flowers.

the prievious shots are "Nice" but way too Hallmark card looking for my taste I will be interested to see what sells best :D

I may get some prints made up my bet is the pretty shots would the sellers.

That really is laying down on the job, Dug. Thanks for such a fresh perspective, good left field stuff and beautiful images. My favourite is first of the second series you posted.
