So that is what those little buggers look like up close. I've always wondered.

I like #1 has a pleasing composition but #4 by far the best. There is a bit too much shadow in #2 and #3 is just a bit short on DOF, the focus seems to have picked up the body and not the head in the center.

But great macro work all the same ! Seems like there's a whole new world down the end of a macro lens.

Agree with the comments already posted. #4 is great the composition makes him/her look like he/she is about to leap in to an abyss.

I'd agree about #4 being the most pleasing composition, great color saturation and contrast in these too...

Great series! Shame the 1st on isn't as sharp as the others, but I like them all! :)

Number 3 reminds me of the giant bugs in the movie Starship Troopers.

Anyone else will to admit having watched that movie ?
