Musician Under the BridgeDeliberately let the highlights blow on this and exposed for the shadow - the detail outside the arches was messy and distracting anyway

Re: Musician Under the BridgeNice photo Pharmer. It would have been a nice entry into the S.E.E
![]() Even though it is severely overexposed in certain parts of the image, I think it works well and it suits the look you obviously set out to achieve. Nice effort ! Dave

The mon o works for me, and the blown highlights only help to add to the atmospherics of this.

I like the b&w version, the blown highlights focus attention on the musician instead of whats going on around, which I gather is the whole point of the image.
Nice!! ![]() 2x D700, 2x D2h, lenses, speedlights, studio, pelican cases, tripods, monopods, patridges, pear trees etc etc

Sorry Pharmer I've been flat out at work, I saw this when you first posted, but never got a chance to reply. I really like the mono, and the way the blown highlights add to the shot. I also like the contrast in the lines in the pavers compared to the lines in the roof, which btw has been exposed very nicely.
