Interested in your thoughts on this image and the processing i have done. B+W version kind of reminds me of an image I saw from London during the blitz. Im not sure if i have done a good job or not, but the conditions were certainly trying. No tripods allowed unfortunately and a Spanish guide.

Gorgeous and kind of eerie.

My order of preference is #2, #1 and then #3.

#3 is too over exposed

#1 Works well

#2 I prefer the black and white, to me it suits the subject and helps provide the "blitz" style imagery.

I really like the first one, the tones make it look warm and inviting, but towards the end of the tunnel threatening and perhaps a little dangerous.....

I like high contrast of the third one. If you'd add some noise it might look even better. In the first version colour doesn't do anything and the second one isn't that dramatic. Just IMHO

I hope you don't mind this comment and it may be a function of the monitor I am working on but the BW images don't work for me. The colour image reminds me of an article that I read in a recent Digital Camera World magazine which used a number of captures of the same image at different settings to increase tonal range within photoshop CS2 (Anyone done this yet?). This is a partially automatic process but I feel that the first image could benefit from this technique, if you were able to revisit the site (or if you already have a number of images taken at different settings of the same subject). I feel that the subject matter is a good one and inherently interesting.

I hope you don't mind this comment, it's better to have some response than none at all and I say up front I am no genius at image manipulation (ask Oneputt), maybe its just the monitor I have here at the moment, but that technique is one I have tucked away to revisit when time allows.

Like all three images for different reasons. #1 warm and inviting; #2 an older world feel; #3 edgier feel. Does this make sense, because I have totally confused myself. Although, the three would look good together as a series in single frame.
