Gyroscope @ The green room - Live Band Photography

Hey guys,

i have recently got back into my band photography and have some pics for review.

I think i did ok considering the lighting at the venue which is a real pain, but i still could have done better.

3rd pic is excellent

the rest capture the action but as you said the available light doesn't give your images justice.

ever consider using the flash and turnign your shots into black and white?
our member Nnnnsic does this masterfully with his band shots

Yup - you need more light here Thommo. Most of the shots yous posted are too dark. Tell us what lens/apperture were you using?

Indeed.

Switching to black and white only works if your shots have enough light to compensate for the darkness.

Maybe your monitor is set much too bright. These images are very dark. If you want them to be dark then maybe punch the contrast way up might help.

Thats the idea i am getting, looks like my moniter is too Bright
