Comments?

My mate and I went about setting up a mock-studio in his room.. very basic. White sheet tacked up, 2 art books with foil over the back of it with 2 lamps pointing at each one.
Unfortunately the light still wasn't that strong, so I had to resort to using flash at iso 800.. but either way, they turned out ok. We're going to invest in some slightly better lights soon enough.

The first two pics look a little green, probly if you pulled the green curve down a little and applied a warming filter might look a bit more natural?

I really like the random one, different and excellent.

The green tinge doesn't really work for me.

In the first two, your subject matter is too close to the background, resulting in the harsh shadows on the background.

You say the colour cast is deliberate: why? What are you trying to achieve with this colouration? It's not simply unnatural, it actually makes the subject look quite sickly.

Also, on these two, consider shooting in porttait mode and/or cropping in much more closely on the face.

The outdoor image, by way of contrast, has good colouration and looks warm and natural; a much better image.

I was intentionally trying to achieve a dirty look with the subject in the two. I must admit I think I over-did it a bit in editing after looking at them more, so I will fix that up. The harsh shadows are from the flash and yes, he was close to the background due to us only having a small area to work with.
