Hi there,

Was just playing with some matches this morning and wanted some opinions.

Does this type of image work? Does it have potential?

Any tips, hints, suggestions to make it better or other ways to shoot this type of thing?



This sort of photography is totally alien to me to any help/tips/ideas would be appreciated

That's wonderful. You have the ethereal glow of the naked flame with that tack sharp matchstick. A perfect composition.

Paul I like it, but flame instinctively looks a little odd to me, but I do like the shot. It's a much better capture then my Opposites entry. Well done and keep experimenting.

Very nice, I like it a lot. Having the actual match in the shot makes it a great photo.
