Not your typical model but a skinny young thing and these would just not be the same.

She is a strong and confident woman I hope the photos show that.

the concept in the 2nd one is beautiful, is that some kind of stocking mass she is enclosed in, she seems entraped but strangely free to move, it's a lovely ballet of compsoition, concept and realization

the first one looks like a fine art painting

excellent work

Wendell - I think its called a body stocking, or atleast they were when I was going drama.

The first one is great, really reminds me of a renaissance piece my mum has at home.

The second one is good, the third one I think is undone by the lighting.

It is a tube of stretch fabric I use.

It is designed for seamless dresses or tops.

I found several meters of it in a junk fabric shop

Doug

I like all three. #1 as said already has a painterly feel to it, #2 the gossamer entrapment of your subject is brought out beautifully by the lighting. #3 is weakest for me since I'd have liked the LHS better lit.

If I lit the LHS I killed the light and the form :(

I tried but it did not look as good. A single strong side light was the best to show up the form of the fabric.

Hers her hair was dark so it needed something to show in that area

It was how she was laying so we left it there.

I guess it's kinda spooky if you don't know

On the print you could see it was her arm.

Dug - I really like all 3 shots.

The best praise I can give is to liken #1 to Horst and #2 and #3 to Jan Sauder and Erwin Blumenfeld - excellent

Makes sense Doug. The twists in the fabric really do set this one off.

I like where you're going with these Dug - love the body stocking.

Classic pose and lighting in the first, it's a good shot but i prefer the almost abstract nude of the last two.

The first one sure does look like a painting :D The 2nd photo, I saw a similar pic the other day but I can't remember whether it was in the newspaper or a photo book :S The lighting in the first two pics is sublime tho :)
