Wonderful shots. You must have been at the Zoo nice and early to get an action shot of the snow leopard?
Well done with the lighting as this is one dark cage.
I think what really stands out in these shots is the eyes and the intensity that you have captured.

Fozzie, nice group of images. I like the Snow Leopard cub in particular. Looking at the picture makes me feel cold which is what the Snow Leopard is all about. The lighting, colours, the water and the wet fur work well together.

Cheers
John

Ben - Yes the Lions were behind glass.

Fortunately I was there by myself for about 20 minutes, so I had the opportunity to select areas where there were no scratches on the glass and clean for shooting. It was quite warm (29C) and the Lions were reluctant to move too much.

Fozzie, love #1 and #2, especially #2  All are great shots and the results speak for themselves. Looks like your "20 mins" worked out perfectly there for you. Looking forward to coming home and joining one of these zoo trips.

Woah, the lion shots are bloody great! The eye detail makes these, they're so engaging, very engaging, excellent.... That last one is stunning... Keep looking into the catchlights to see if I can see you

Hmmm, wondering if the WB could be warmed up just a smidge, the whites seem a smidge blue, or is it just me??? Hmmm, probably just me I think...
