That's a beautiful shot (and a beautiful animal).
I might have upped the exposure slightly, but only just: maybe 1/3 or 1/2 a stop.

Good idea, and maybe a little levels or soemthing on the cat and then a soft vignette... There's a nice portrait here in the making... Nice soft detail...

I agree, good portrait. I know what you mean about the 'get lost look'. Now whenever I get the camera out, the dog takes one look as though to say, 'not again', and walks away.

i like this shot alot.... only suggestion i have is to crop it heavily in portrait rather than landscape.. i feel that the left and right sides are a bit of dead space to a good shot...
