My first shot using my SB600, bounced off the ceiling.
Its a photo of a work mate for use in a mock up for the design department
Quite pleased with the colour and smoothness of it. Early days yet

Great work, Pharmer. I like it. Looks very smoot and no reflections.

What other lighting was used? I'm just wondering because one flash bounced up yet the subjects face seems well lit... I've got no idea when it comes to how to use a flash (obviously

) but the lighting just seems really nice and even here... Looks good to me...

the flash is bouncing off the white plate to light up the face...... bit like using a bounce board.........

Wow, thanks... I thought it might have been simply bouncing up again when I first looked but never thought it would have been that strong, spose it's a bright white surface huh... maybe it's just because it's cleaner than my bowl

Cant fault the photo, just the subject. His face needs to be deeper in the bowl.

Nailed the lighting, well done. I kind of agree with nito, the subject being lower in the bowl would of sold this a little more to me.

Looks as though you have well and truly mastered bounce flash with the SB600 Pharmer. Nice even lighting with smooth as silk transitions.
cheers

Love the lighting and colour.
And, can I just say, I'm amused that people now have to add "not a self portrait" to their subjects
