Tunnel Falls - Eagle CreekColumbia River Gorge. Note the tunnel that was blasted out to continue going beyond the waterfall.

What a location... Love it...
I can see some really nice spots down there at the creek in front of wet mossy rocks with some creamy small water falls leading to the big mother at the back... Great scene... Great idea with the tunnel too, means not defacing with a walk-way or hand-rail thing I spose... Nice spot... Aka Andrew
That is what I thought as well. Your position must have been a little precarious Dude. Very nice image

I agree, the comp isn't that great - but from where I was at I didn't have a lot of options even with my 10-20 lens. I'm headed back this coming Friday for a 3-day backpacking trip. I doubt I will bring my tripod but I hope to get the bottom of the fall so I can get the whole thing in a single picture. Getting down will be easy, getting back up will be the hard part. It's actually very steep, but hard to tell from the picture.
Thanks for the comments! Here's a few others from the same hike: ![]() ![]() Notice anything different about this one? ![]() -jeff Nikon D200 w/ 18-70mm Kit Lens, Nikkor 70-200VR, Nikon 50mm 1.8, Sigma 10-20mm and SB800 | http://www.jeffandjean.smugmug.com
