Grabbed this while up at Landcruiser Mountain Park on the weekend in between 4x4ing. Still can't believe the variety of colours in these things.

Sigma 180 Macro
Exposure Time = 1/500"
F Number = F11
Exposure Program = Aperture priority
ISO Speed Ratings = 200
Exposure Bias Value = -1EV
Metering Mode = Spot
Flash = Flash fired, auto mode, return light detected

LCMP is up near Jimna - it has been a playground of mine for the past five years, but I am over it now :wink:

Mark that is a great image - your best yet I think (and that is saying something) :D

Thanks folks. It was a spur of the moment thing, no tripod, but I did have the flash on the camera as I was stalking some type of large egret. Wasn't happy with the egret as I couldn't get close enough but I kinda liked this one :D

Amaaaazing color, and this one is so well seperated from the background, so sharp and detailed I can see the little "hairs"... Brilliant image!

If this doesn't justify your buying the 180mm Sigma macro, nothing will. This is an brilliant shot, soooo sharp and nice colours.
