Hi OnePutt
Yes thait is coal, I was born and grow up in Saigon ( Now HCM city ) , sometime when cooking finish, i used to put a sweet potato into the middle of hot ash, tem mins later I had a very delicious BBQ potato. This kitchen is in the mid of VN when the bus stop for everybody buying some drink, toilet .., then i went to a resident to buy a spring water, then i see the kitchen , need not to say I took a picture after ask for permission. regards spada
G'day,
I can almost smell it... Looks like a REAL authentic kitchen where some fantastic recipes would have been eagerly gobbled down... Great shot and what great memories that must bring back... Aka Andrew
