For some reason I just don't like the pinkish orangish colours that come with skies. But others do, and I decided to post this one in colour as a couple people expressed they'd like to buy a copy of the print in colour.

What do you think. I tend to prefer BW, but most like these colour ones.

Whilst I love the pink colours and treatment of the sky,

I feel theat the lower LHS doesnt do anything for the shot.
I would be tempted to pano crop it to remove the dark area lower left

I love the color and movement in the sky, great texture, and also the outcrop adds great interest, the shadows in the water work well.

Not sure about the BL cnr, like Steve, I'm wondering about cropping some off the bottom and making it more of a pano...

Gotta go back to that little outcrop though, an eerie subject standing out there, looks great... Nice work mate

Funny, I really don't mind the outcrop. It feels completely natural to me.

You might have misunderstood, I really like the outcrop, I think it's the central subject and the terrific sky is the background... The outcrop makes the image I reckon...

Oh sorry, I used the wrong word there. I meant the dark area on the bottom left hand side. It doesn't make me want to make a pano.

That is a gorgous shot! what lens did you use for the the nikon 10-20? or 15-35? Great Detail

The lens is the 10-20mm Sigma superwide.

It's pretty much the sharpest lens I own.

You really do show off this little island in some nice ways Dave. Great colours.
