Corella's

We have large flocks of Corella's in the area at the moment and this morning whilst having coffee and cleaning my camera gear prior to going out for the day a bird flew over and landed in a tree in my yard i had my 300mm afi 2.8 on at the time so just pointed up and fired away paying no attention to white balance or any settings, so thats why the whites are the way they are, these birds are very noisy in large flocks and they create a big mess under the large gum trees where they congregate

Not great pics but just goes to show one must have brain engaged before firing shutter button

maybe i would have been better had i finished my coffee ??

way too steep an angle on the first one and the whites look fairly hot also

you have done well on the second one getting it in flight.
I am on my notebook right now but seems sharp. whites look a little hot

The first one's a grab but the second one I really like, seems really sharp, good detail, might be able to tone the highlights down a little in either RAW conversion or in PP if you wanted to...

Whites are way blown in both.
