After an all night drive from Canberra to Adelaide, I was cruising through Pinnaroo at about 6:30am when I saw the morning light hit these silos (?)

After a squeal of the brakes and a hurried russle through the stuff in the back for the camera, here's the result:

Minimal PP on the image.

Well, that's probably the most attractive picture of Pinnaroo that I have seen. Every time I drive through there (and the myriad of other little towns along these parts) I think "thank God I didn't get posted here!". Hopefully no-one on the board is from Pinnaroo!!

A classic and iconic image of SA.

Well spotted and taken.

Ray,

you have a keen eye, the silos look terrific.

Maybe worth a call to the owners, perhaps they could use it on their marketing materials......

Feel for you... same trip for me only a month ago, except I had an overnighter at Pinnaroo.

Well spotted!

The only improvement to this image I'd like to see is maybe clone out the bit of branch on the left (but not crop, I think the silo would be too close to the edge of the frame).

Outstanding image! It looks like part of the space program. That something so basic can be made to look so high tech and complex simply because of the quality of the light and the skill of the photographer is bloody amazing! Should be selected as picture of the week.

Thanks for the encouraging comments.

As had been put forward, I've attempted to clone out the tree on the left.

Not too sure about what it did to the image.
