Hi
My late post about dslrusers.net Cataract dam BBQ on the 11-2-06, I had some simple (composition ) pictured would like to share , all view used 24-85 G, people used 85mm.

what is the "thing" on the lens in picture No 7 apparently
allowing to view through the lens without a camera ? :? :o

I'm going to hazard a guess that that's Matt's Telescope Converter.

It's a Nikon telescope convertor. You fit it to any nikon lens and ...presto! A telescope! On the 80-400 it is very, very powerful.

can you fit it on a 80-200VR with TC17EII ?

Thank CD , I do not know much about Matt telescope converter, but i looked through it , it is realy a powerful telescope but without VR .

The mount is the same, so yes, it should work no worries.
