Some great shots there, my favourite is Tod Kelly, the panning there is brilliant, lovely stuff.

Nice candid of Todd; had a look through the smugmug gallery and relatively impressed especially with the cars that have been shot through the fence. Great stuff, cannot wait to get out there myself tommorow.

Daniel - great work in difficult conditions 35.1C. Special mention for the FA-18 Hornet and Ted Kelly's car shots. And the shots of the girls are very impressive as well

Oh my! I love the 3 airplane shots (especially the hornet from the bottom, Lovely lovely lovely!) and the bottom large photo.
Must have been a lot of fun!

Thanks all. I'm very happy with this shot of the FA-18 Hornet.
This was the last one in a sequence, and each shot was sharper than the last. It's very nice when viewed full size

I tried a few panning shots. Most were a blury, but some of them came out well. This was probably the best one.

It actually felt like hard work.

The heat seemed worst than normal. But I'm happy with the results.

Daniel, you have some great shots there... particularly the FA-18. That is an angle that we do not see everyday. Maybe clone out the wisp of cloud and watermark it or reduce its size further for web use... lest it be stolen.
Cheers

Thanks.
I did some cloning on some of the other pictures and this one does deserves it too.
I dislike marring my images, but perhaps in this case I may need to.

Daniel, Had a closer look at the underside of the Hornet! Brilliant stuff, sharp as, and I noticed the watermark is on it now (good idea).

Yes I followed MattC's advice to put on a watermark. In exchange I have uploaded the full size version (
1214px x 1820px).

Thank you all.
It's funny. Going to a car race and coming away with shots of aircraft...
