So how do you get all the girls to smile / look your way? 8)

Is it just the equipment that impresses them?

Last time I went to Indy I only had my Powershot G2  I'm guessing the 20D + white 70-200 2.8 + 580EX might get me more attention

When I saw this on Thursday I had to go for a Doctor the following day for a check up, as the heart was racing and ...

I like the far right one, in the set of three. The one with the girl, next to the banner with the girl wearing the same clothes. Clever composition / good spotting. I wonder how they burn of all those calories, it isnt even diet coke

The heat made for a hard day, but there were other consolations... :D

Often I had asked them for a shot, but sometimes the D70 and SB-800 (even with just the kit lens) is impressive enough for them to pose as soon as I point their way. :P
I had to ask the lady with the umbrella to tilt the umbrella back, as it was covering her face with a big shadow. They are all very obliging... :D

With so much going on around, I was luck to spot it. I just wish her friend hadn't been in the shot. :?

I thought it was a funny shot. :D It's interesting to see how the girls change when they are "off duty". These girls on their lunch brake, didn't smile or even acknowledge the camera.

When I was at the F1GP in Melb I stood behind a load of guys with P&S and I pulled out the D70 with 70-200VR and it's amazing how many of the girls stopped looking at the P&S :)

I can only guess that all that outdoor smiling and posing really burn up energy.

Fair enough, if they are on their break, then they are just your better then average good looking girls, on a lunch break.

And Nito your right, smiling uses a lot of muscles and burns a lot of calories.
