Hi,

Another set of film images from me. As film has been scanned and images were digitised they have become digital images I went to test new film and new spot meter altogether and closest interesting subjects are Dee Why Lagoon and Dee Why Beach. So, for your C&C:

Out of this set, I'd rate #3 as the pick. This is the type of work I think of when thinking of MF/B&W.

#5 in your gallery is also good.

Film? Ke? With that out of the way ....

The first one doesn't seem to keep my interest, I like the pier footings but they seem "too far away" in this to be the subject so I look for other things, the sky seems washed out... PP would fix that up Thinking about the angle from down closer to the pier footings and having them become a stronger subject in the image...

Like the strong foreground in #2, needs something in the "middleground" though I think, maybe someone fishing in a small boat or something?

#3, like the way the corn(?) stalks go off into the distance, wonder how it'd look if you shot from lower down and there's only either corn or sky, no distant hills etc...

The clouds in #4 look as though they're just about to slide down my screen, they seem almost like a 3D effect... Is it just me???

I liked the scene depicted in #1, but I agree with mudder, the fence posts aren't close enough to keep my interest. Technically v. impressive though.

Yeah, I needed to get closer to the posts in the first shot but it was to dirty in the grass and I was too lazy Next time, I'll get closer
