Yesterday I went out to the BMW Car Club of Victoria (BMWCCV) Hill climb at Morwell where they challenged some members from the Audi Club here in Vic.

It was a great day with plenty of shooting practice to he had, but the highlight was going for a couple of laps with a friend in his M3 (yellow one below).

Lots of different cars turned out, Audi TT (quickest Audi and driven by a girl), EVO III was there for some Taga Tassie practice (fastest car easy on the day), E30 M3 race car, E30 racing series cars, a Mini and the usual variety of BMW's.

Audi S4 (got a little over confident after this, cut a corner WAY to early and popped a tyre off the rim)

BMW E12 (supercharged and from memory the quickest BMW on the day!)

BMW E36 M3 3.0L not so great videos can be found here ... in car - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NfWyv3VC6x4 and outside - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n0zDXgb5-o4 )

What a blast! I'm salivating over the machinery in that last shoot, hubba hubba... Sigh, I want a toy like that ma!!!

The hot lap in the M3 would have been fun... :)

Looks good Jamie,
i learnt most of my motorsport photgraphy techniques with the help of a member of the e30 racing club.

I recognise that yellow E36 M3, Alan aka Morerevsm3 is the owner of the car.

Good to see a ECCA member onboard

BBJ - anymore details on that event, I wouldn’t mind posting it up for some of the members on my old forum to attend.

Redline - who might that be out of interest?

Technik - yes its Alan's car (mad old bugger that he is, top bloke!). I used to be a part owner of ECCA and one of the ones who started it up, well until I got on here and gave it all up to concentrate more on photography.
