John,
I've been uming and arh about these for a while now, but I've finally decided I don't really like them. It could just be my new CRTs at work, but the colour seems all wrong, too destaturated or lacking punch. Since I know the D2X just laps up colour I assume theses have been PP'ed so ? Either way, I'd sorry mate but these don't do it for me, I think the colour is the stumbling point for me. (if these have been PP'ed, could you post a small thumnail of the raw / No PP version).

Craig you are right about the colours but wrong about the PP. All I did was a little USM. I was trying our a CPL on the 10-20 which I now think does not need one. I am convinced that this particular filter is crap.

I'm considering a CPL to share between the 10-20 and the 80-200, can you tell me which to avoid ?

Craig it is a Fotar and I am not the only one to experience problems. I think that Zeeke also had trouble with one.
I also think now that due to the slow shutter speed brought about by the CPL I may have a tad of camera movement which has affected the sharpness. As soon as I get the opportunity I am going to do these again without the CPL.

I also think that the time of day might be a factor in the flat colour and lack of contrast.
