Playing with movement - 2 shots (and yes, they were supposed to be blury

)

Indian minah flock over water
f1.8, 1/60sec, 200mm

Egrets coming into roost over water
f2.8, 1/10sec, 92mm

Good, I like the idea.
At first sight looks like a bad pic...

but soon after..... make movement.

Very artsy Rel,

I like them both. Don't like the subject of the first, but the result is really nice.

Thank you both so much - I realise they are very different from what I normally shoot, and I kind of liked the result, but thought everyone else must have really hated them :oops:

Rel - I didn't hate them, but they are a big departure from your usual work.

I like the movement in the first, and I like the reflection in the second

Good to see you trying something different, and pushing your boundaries.

I know they are completely different, well, they aren't bugs for a start

, but I've got to start somewhere :roll:

I'm excited too Rel! In just over 24 hours I've raised $720 so I'm very happy!
It is a shame you couldn't combine the two shots, I think it might of worked well..
