Let me explain my absence from these forums lately... I've been in 'jail'*.
17-35@30mm/2.8
Peering at the outside world from my 'cell', complete with barbed wire fences preventing my escape...
Taken at 6:45am on a Saturday. 50 working hours in, 8 more to go!!
* It certainly feels like it.

What a great moody photo. The highlights are perfectly round too - I believe that is a mark of a good quality lens. Lovely composition, colours and mood.
Don't work too hard Onyx... Real life is much more fun.

I like the bokeh, perhaps could of gone with a sharper more in focus fence line.

I know how you feel, sometimes on a long shift I feel like scratching at the window, just quietly whimpering...
Like the pic but yep the barbed wire seems soft to me too, dunno if it's just a short DOF thing or not though...
Nice background lights...

Love the darkish lighting, it really sets a mood. Even if you don't guess that there is a prison there, you get the idea.
I think increasing the depth-of-field just slighty so that the wire stays in focus all the way across but the background is still out would improve this one.
