G'day all,

Was on the way for a nice drive out to Warby after working more IT nerd hours, driving along and suddenly BANG! A piece of metal (which looks like an off-cut from another piece or metal much larger) about 20x20mm and about 300mm long blew my tyre out! Needless to say after stopping and getting organised, hmmm, ok, new car wher's the changing tyre stuff??? Find the spare OK, the jack OK, the handle for said jack yeah OK, now where's the wheel brace to undo the nuts... Doh! Where's the %$#&ing sweel brace... Darn it, call roadside assistance, they tell me to call Subaru because the raodside company hasn't updated their own records about me getting a new car a few moths ago... err... huh... :?

Anyway, after getting them out to change my tyre for me... sigh... On I went for my drive a later and more frazzled then I started off on my nice relaxing cruise...

Out the back on the way to Warby my sister used to have a holiday house and I spent many a time there growing up, lots of memories...

Anyway (again), just a quickie but one that brings back memories to me and after a more eventful day than planned too.. Even got caught by that bloody electric fence again... geees....

C&C welcome :)

Nice shots mudder. You're right about it being the wrong time, the only way I'd improve them is with a nice warm glow :) Perhaps try the warming filter in photoshop?

Cheers,
Owen.

The last time I had to call road side assistance the car died in the middle of the intersection, outside Macquarie Shopping centre, on the day after the New Year weekend. It was scary!
Fantastic images by the way. Love the depth in the first one, and the sky in the second one.

good juxtapositon with the bathtub and silo.
the dof you get with this lens makes these 2 shots.

my favourite is the bathtub one.

Mudder, the bath tube shot is my favourite. The dark cast draws you towards the secret Australian Nuclear Missle silo.

Love the second one here.
The slight vignette and colours are great.
