Thanks to Kevin(Miteodo) and John(Oneputt) i had a productive location scout for The Fred Bare summer range fashion shoot i will be doing in May
I often wondered why Fred Bare wanted to shoot in Noosa, now i know, it's a wonderful place very different to sydney beaches with lots of varied landscapes.

I started of along the river off hastings street there were some nice jettys and spanning scapes, then off to the main noosa beach where i started from the leftmost side, the beach is shallow calm and very nice.

Image
around the main beach i plan to shot the boys with a surf theme
plain beach simple scene boys in the water kicking the water, i want lots of splashes in the air

further to the right of the main beach there are many wonderful rocks
Image
plan to shoot some of the boys around this rocky area. There are some nice sand patches around the area which will be safer to stand on

these rocks are around the main beach
Image
plan to shoot boys and girls here either standing, leaning or lying on the rocks, the safety of the kids is always on my mind and first priority so i won't be putting them anywhere potentially dangerous, that's why i have plan a, b and c depending on the weather(rain, wind) and the rush of the tides

this place has alot of potential water is low, lots of rocks and sand, probably shoot boys and girls here
Image

this rock formation has lots of small pools of water, plan to shoot boys and girls here splashing the water
Image

this is great location the water breaks nicely against the rocks and produces a lovely contrast
Image
where i was standing the rocks were dry, this is where i swill shoot the girls

this scene is for the girls, i will have them lying on one of the bigger rocks
Image

girls and boys here on the rock formations that are wet i'd get them to sit down on the rocks

more rocks

more moody shots will be under the shade, most of these are around the national park, probably shoot boys and girls here
Image
i will use strobe lights to illuminate the model(s) if needed against the dark backgrounds

I plan to shot the more plain garments during full daylighht

the better looking garments i plan to shoot in the early morning light and after noon lightwith the benefit of two outdoor proof strobes. There is only a few absolutly stunning outfits for the girls, most of the boys stuff is pretty plain.

Fred bare also want to mix in shots of the boys surfing and some posed shots at a rustic old surf shop, but they have yet to give me details on these locations i think we will end up just in 3 places over 3 days
1. main beach with rocks
2. just off the main beach before the national park where most of the rocky beachline is
3. At the periphery of the forrest in the national park

i'll show you my more art directed moody shots in Pt 2[/img]

Wendell!
Too many photos in one post!
Try to reduce them with few best of the bunch.

Should be great for your shoot, Wendell.
Don't forget the sunscreen for the models - that Queensland sun bites right through the year!

looks like you picked the weather well too!

It has not been too pleasant for the last few weeks.
