Wowsa! I am in no way a cat person, but they are so big and in your face, full of detail.. I really like them the eye isn't in focus in the second but it actually doesn't suffer too much due to the hi level of detail on the (snout) nose ?

For me these shots make the cat seem more wild (perhaps as it looks so big and in your face) rather then your standard domestic pet shots.

Wow - these are great Pall! Not your usual cat shots, that's for sure. Agree with Craig's comments about the proximity giving a wild look to the feline. Mouse-eye view? Fantastic detail and, yes, once again I'm reminded of the space in my camera bag reserved for the 105mm...

The DOF is a bit shallow for me, but agreed that it's def not your average cat pic :) Makes the cat look more aggressive than it is.

The cats colour is defiantly what makes the shot. Warm and sharp, although my only issue is the eyes again. The pupil, however small it gets, is what you are drawn to in an eye and it just seems furry, where as the furry bit is sharp.

definitely an improvement over the cat shot you posted the other day.

Ditto what has already been said about these shots

Just WOW!!!!!
Love the idea, and the execution is fantastic, I actually really like the shallow DOF - for me it really works !!!
Know what I'll be doing when I head home tonight :)
