These guys cruise the coastline just a short walk from home.
It is a real challenge to get the light / the framing and composition/ and the bird at the right angle
Haven't yet got any good shots with fish in tallons or swooping for fish as the light and angles always seem that bit off.
The solution is to keep trying and I guess there will be great satisfaction when I get there
Feedback welcome

Nice work, Bob. I can appreciate how difficult it is to get such a shot as this.
Cheers

Bob,
Taking shots of birds in flight isn't easy at the best of times. You have managed a beautiful shot here.
Is the shot cropped and if so, by how much?
Congrats
Cheers

Yes it is cropped about 35% but I have taken shots with my 70-200 afs and 2 times converter that didn't even fit the frame

Wow, it's not often you get such good light underneath showing feather detail under the wings... Great shot...
