great shot, but i agree with the previous comments.
also i notice the sky is very blue, did you used some kind of filter? i also think that maybe a black and white version may be more powerful.

Christian. the sky was very drab so I added a very slight graduated blue filter. It was actual raining when the shot was taken which accounts for teh somewhat indistinct distance. If you look closely at the sand you can see where the BIG raindrops were hitting.
