Watching the world go by

This, I believe, is what I do best. Although I do some landscapes, its not something that holds my interest for very long. I cannot really compete with the likes of Peter Dombrovsky nor do I want to. I truly believe that you must take your camera and capture the every day folk albeit sometimes the darker side of life. This is Mike. And he knows he is one of my favourite subjects :D Winter or summer, he is dressed for winter - but he surprised me the other day, and was sitting in the sun at the Quay in shorts! This is a shot I took last spring.

This is the work of Sheila that I love. Character portraits that tell a story. Exceptional shot, thanks for sharing

Great shot! Love the features and texture of the figure, but I find the patterns of the legs in the background a bit distracting...

Excellent shot Shiela.

Out of interest I understand that iron deficiencies mean you have poor circulation and feel the cold. I saw it in Timor where overnight the security guys would have on thick parkas even though it was only down to the not so chilly 28C.
