This guy was caught in a spiders web in the back yard this afternoon. I managed to extract him but but had to snap off a few shots during the process. Most amazing eyes, they displayed these colours in natural light.

commonly known as March flies. ...... The evil flies that fly around behind you and bite you on the back of the legs - nasy !!!!! LOL

Actually this guy got away after I removed some of the web from his legs but...... the other one that was biting my leg whilst I was shotting this one had a very messy demise. :wink:

He only had boring green eyes
